The Doctor of Nursing Practice program’s family nurse practitioner track trains nurses to offer complete primary health care to individuals and families of all ages across the health continuum.

The program focuses on promoting health, preventive services, health education, counseling and managing acute and chronic illnesses, including prescribing medications and treatments and collaboration with the health care team.

Upon completion, graduates can pursue national certification through the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Certification Board (AANPCB).
